CHILDHOOD AND THINGS:
Grew up on the Northeast beach in Florida. In high school he went back in competitive sport of surfing, played soccer.
He was invited to East-Coast Championships 3 times. Been surfing since he was 9.
Family known mostly in Georgia and Florida.
He is the son of ELEANOR CIVIC ORGANIZER of Garnette Pharmaceutical Manufacture,the only boy,one of 3 children.
Some of his cousins hold various management positions among the company. The pharmacy there has been producing Over The Counter since 1908. Also his mother: RETIRED AS EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR OF 'LEADERSHIP IN JACKSONVILLE IN 1998.
They had a big house on the beach, but the family also had a ranch.
It was at 18 he left Florida to go to Duran go to go to college there. Spent the first 100 days skiing. He also raced, taught skiing, and did plays til he actually got in a classroom.
EDUCATION:

Fort Lewis College Duran go, Colorado in business, Psychology, before dropping out JR year
to become an actor. He did have 3.5 GPA.
ROMANCE:
They met in 83 on the set of LOVING.She had been on the show 8 MOS as a regular. He had come for a guest spot.
She had told the make-up artist " that's the man I'm going to marry". The next couple of years they never spoke much but in 85 they were together again when he joined the cast of "LOVING". One night after acting class they attended together , they went out and got to talking , 3 days later they moved in together. 5 months later they MARRIED.

A RETIRED Professor from Florida State University of National Society of Washington, they have traced the family of the
Lindens family tree as far back as great-grandfather of the first president George Washington.
That would make the Lindens a first cousin (MANY TIMES REMOVED) of George.
The Ashby name appears in a number of CIVIL WAR DOCUMENTS. It is confirmed least one of the Linden ancestors served in the Confederate Army in J.E.B. Stuart's Calvary.
