Who shoot EJ

Just as he and Sami exchanged their "I dos," three shots rang out! Someone shot EJ before he could kiss his new bride. And there are plenty of suspects. Think Kate, Roman, Lucas. Maybe even Marlena or Steve. Or maybe that mysterious woman in black who appeared at the wedding? Did one of them shoot EJ? Read the evidence against each of them. THE SUSPECTS

ROMAN
Everyone knows Roman didn't want his daughter Sami to marry EJ. But would he resort to murder? Bo seemed to think so; he took away Roman's service revolver. What he didn't know was that Roman had another gun, in an ankle holster.

BO
Listen, man, I wouldn't joke about shooting EJ.

ROMAN
Who's joking?

LUCAS

If you think Roman didn't want Sami to marry EJ, think about how Lucas felt. Sami divorced Lucas to marry EJ. And Lucas was armed, too. He had a gun in a locked drawer in his and Sami's apartment. And he got a babysitter the night of the wedding so that he could be there. Did he take the gun with him to the wedding?

LUCAS
I said I'd kill him with my bare hands if he tries to marry you.

SAMI
You shouldn't say stuff like that.

LUCAS
I meant every word … Think about it, Sami. What if there was a way to make EJ disappear forever?

KATE

Another armed Salemite. Lucas bought Kate a gun after she was "attacked;" he later learned that the attack was a set-up. One would think Kate would be thrilled that Sami was marrying EJ; after all, that would mean she was no longer married to Lucas. But when Lucas learned about the fake attack, he cut Kate out of his life, forever. The only way she could win him back was if she stopped the wedding. She had a loaded weapon and motive. Did she put them to use?

KATE
There has to be something I can do. Some way to make it up to you. I'll do anything!

LUCAS
You mean that? Anything?

KATE
You name it.

LUCAS
Stop the wedding. Stop Sami from marrying EJ.

STEVE

Not the most likely suspect, but definitely a possibility. Before the wedding, he ditched Kayla to "run a few errands." And after the wedding, he secretly hid a gun in a cabinet behind the bar at Brady's Pub. And he knew it was EJ, not Sami, who had been shot.

STEVE
I need to make a few stops. I'll see you at home.

KAYLA
One of those stops wouldn't happen to be the church, would it?

MARLENA
Marlena? Possibly the least likely suspect of all. But after John's murder she did say to Hope she'd thought about killing EJ. Hm.

MARLENA
If Bo can't get through, if none of us can, there's still one way left to protect Sami.

HOPE
I don't see any other way except to kidnap her.

MARLENA
I do. Kill EJ Wells.

MYSTERY WOMAN
And whowas the mystery woman at Sami and EJ's wedding? And did she have anything to do with the shooting?
