And baseball teams.
After graduating he enrolled in acting classes. First role was on Days, where on the set he met Melissa.Although they didn't
Spend much time together on screen ,off screen sparks flew. The first date they had was 1989 Anniversary Party. They married a years later.
After Days he was co starred in a Golden Globe Nominated Series " I Know My First Name Is Steven".
Later that year, he made his feature film debut 1989 "Big Man On Campus". Then a small role on " Friday
The 13th Part VIII where he was chased above and below the sewers by Jason.
When he got the role on Young and the Restless he appeared in a feature film "Edge of Honor" with Corey Fieldsman.

HISTORY OF HIS STORY LINE:
He appeared at Salem as a boy who went to school with Eve Donovan. When Jake and his friends found out Eve use to be a
hooker they made a bet with one another to see who would sleep with her first.Eve never liked any of Jake's friends except Harris Michael who turned on her and took up on Jake's bet.
Eve sets them up when she finds out about the bet. What she does is set them up by having them be responsible for the drugs and alcohol present at a party they were attending and they all got arrested. When Jake found out that this was a set up he plotted revenge.
His buddies and Jake kidnaps Eve and left Nick a note to meet them some place outside of town.
Nick and Jake played a game of chicken and to every ones surprise Nick's car went off the cliff and burst into flames.
TRIVIA:
Had a small wedding. About 35 people mostly immediate family and a few friends in a country church. They pushed up to the next year for their honeymoon because their work . They went to Hawaii for 2 weeks on Kauai and Maui.
He had brain surgery the night before he was to wed Melissa. That is why they had the small wedding. Reason for the Brian surgery was because he had a sinus infection and it was an abscess in his brain which caused him to have seizures
Hosted Tournament Of Roses Parade- 1998 also pre-parade coverage on December 97 til the end of December into the New Year 1998.
